Third Conditional

The third conditional is used to talk about the past. We use it to talk about situations we aren't able to change, and sometimes we use it because we would like that these past situations were different.

Example:
The situation is: Last week I had an exam. I didn't study for the exam and I failed it.
"If I had studied for the exam, I wouldn't have failed it."
As you see, we use the past perfect combined with "would have + past participle"

Now practice some exercises of the third conditional.
